Effective October 10, 2026 · Operator: The VISL · By installing and using FILMU you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

FILMU (the “app”) is an iPhone camera app for taking photos and videos with film looks and date stamps, editing photos, and adding your voice and captions. All features are currently free, with no ads and no accounts.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-commercial right to use the app. These terms apply together with Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA); if they conflict, whichever is more favorable to you applies.

3. Your content

You own the photos, videos and voice recordings you create with the app, and the app never uploads them to us. Get consent and follow the law when you film or record other people. You're responsible for content you share.

4. Rights in the app

We own the app's design, filters, date stamps, icons and other components. Bundled fonts follow their own licenses: Gowun Batang, Gowun Dodum and Klee One (SIL Open Font License 1.1), and KOTRA Handwriting (KOTRA).

5. Paid features

If paid features (FILMU+) are added, we'll show the price and what's included in the App Store and in the app beforehand. Payments and refunds follow Apple's App Store policies.

6. Changes and limitation of liability

We may change or discontinue features to improve the app, and we'll announce important changes in the app or on this page. Unless caused by our intent or gross negligence, we aren't liable for losses caused by device problems, lack of storage, or other apps and services. Back up important photos and videos to Photos or iCloud.
